
Scott has been working as an attorney and finance professional for more than 15 years.
He began his career as a litigation attorney in Raleigh North Carolina. He then held several positions in North Carolina State Government working for the Pat McCrory administration.
He served as a law clerk at the Industrial Commission, a Grant Administrator at the Governor's Crime Commission and finally as a Procurement attorney for the North Carolina Department of Information Technology.
Scott worked briefly as a stock broker before taking the role of CFO and General Counsel for the Lincoln Network, a DC think tank focused on bridging the gap between technologist and policy makers.
Scott joined Fabius Labs in June of 2021 and serves as the CFO and General counsel.

When he's not working Scott enjoys spending time with his wife (Katie), sons (Liam and Aiden) and his dog Deacon.
He is an avid fan of Boxing, Basketball and Bar-B-Que. He is an infrequent but enthusiastic competition BBQ pitmaster.
He lives with his family in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
Scott was a gubernatorial appointment to the Tryon Palace Commission (an unpaid public service post) in 2016. He mounted a vigorous but unsuccessful campaign for the NC State Senate in 2020.
